Traditionally, one the best areas in the UK for surf. Whilst maybe not the windiest area in the UK, it's maybe not far off - just witness the number of wind farms that have sprung up over the last decade. Whilst many of the breaks are pretty radical for windsurfing, there are others where the novice wavesailor can find his/her feet. And with several inland waters catering for those not yet versed in coping with the vertical element of the sea, the SW just about has it all.
