It is a bit wet for me to cycle to Frampton and back in the rain. I hope to see you all at Axbridge on Saturday though, I will be at the gate at 10.30. I am also thinking of WSM for Fri afternoon. May be on the water there at 2.30pm if the forecast holds up.

Would you beleive it
On the 13th. July the club social drink is being held in the Hare pub, two minutes walk from my house. I can NOT make it!!! I will be on safety boat duty at Axbridge that evening. What a bummer.

Angel Weds 8th. June
I plan to be at the Angel at about 8pm. Though I will not be able to make the weekend away in Penbrokeshire. I will hopefully be sailing in Daymer bay that weekend. I will certainly be there and if the wind is blowing I will be on the water and my white VW camper will be in the car park with its Nom...

Tues 31st. May
Anyone off work and fancy a trip to Portland tomorrow?
20 mph wind out of the north and a reasonable tide.
I am hoping the wind strength will compensate for the less than perfect wind direction.

Re: Sunday 17th April - Portland
I can not make the AGM or the first away day unfortunetly. I am thinking of having my first outing of the year tomorrow though (Sunday 10th.). If the forecast holds up I will head to Axbridge as it is not far to drive and I can have a HOT shower afterwards.

Re: Tropical Portland tomorrow anyone?
Do not really want to drive that far given the limited day light hours. I hope to get on the water at Axbridge tomorrow. As you say, could well be the last session until spring.

Re: Sail Repairs
Thanks Graham. I finally got to Bristol Sails when his door was open. Apparently he had been taking some time off. He is repairing my sail but no discount any more as he does not get enough windsurfing sail work now a days.

Sail Repairs
Does any one know where I go for sail repairs, preferable in Bristol?
I need a patch put on where a broken batten tore the batten pocket.
The result of sailing in strong winds in the shallow waters of Portland.

Portland Mon. Tues
Bert the dog and I are heading to Portland tomorrow (Mon) for some last of the summer wine. I may camp overnight so I may be there Tues as well. I do not have much time available in Oct. so probably will not get out. November is too cold for little old me apart from may be a quick dip at Axbridge fo...

Re: Thurs. 25th.
The forecast for tomorrow for Weston is now Westerly 20mph on the met office site. If that holds up tomorrow morning, I will hope to be on the water at 2pm even though that will entail a long muddy walk.

A question for you Weston officianado. Is Weston a good possibility for tomorrow or do I need to drive to Portland to get a sail in?

Whoops! Realised the MOT has ran out on my van. I have had to delay my trip to Portland. I am hoping to get there on Thurs. now, IF THERE IS WIND.

Mon 21st. Tues 22nd.
Okay I did not sail last week as the forecast changed. So I will try again this coming week as Portland is looking good for Monday and Tuesday. Unfortunately, no sailing wind this weekend unless you can fly some where.
