Many thanks Poole Windsurfing for responding to my post, it’s very much appreciated. It’s nice to know that there are so many people willing help me learn this great sport by providing answers to what I realise are very basic questions. Apart from helping to answer my initial question you’ve provide...

Ian,

Only just found them myself but these should be the co-ordinates you require:

N 50.581842
W -2.469931

If they are wrong at least you won’t be alone :)

Given that it’s the last official trip, the onset of winter and ever decreasing chances of getting out I’m still up for going if others are. Whether I’m brave enough to actually try sailing when I get there is another thing given that it feels a wee bit on the fresh side this evening. Will check the...

Thanks Martin,

Appreciate you taking the time to respond.

I realise that what you said is an obvious answer but I would of felt more stupid had I not asked the question and wrecked the mast, only to discover that I could of avoided damaging it by asking the question.

Thanks again,

Rob.

Thanks Graham, Your quite correct, the reservoir at Llandegfedd is closing for the winter at the end of the month. This is a shame as I would continue going for as long as I could physically withstand the cold. There may be a chance of a few hours on Sundays during November, this has apparently been...

Hi Sue, As I was saying to Rachael, a trip abroad would be nice but unfortunately not possible at the moment. However Axbridge is a possibility so just a case of waiting for the appropriate time. Thanks for mentioning Angus, hopefully I’ll meet up with him at some point either via the forum or at on...

Hi Rachael, Nice to hear from you. Egypt sounds good and looks even better (from YouTube, not from experience unfortunately). Not a realistic option at the moment though and unlikely for the foreseeable future. My wife’s shouting “go, go, go!, honestly, not sure if that’s good or bad thing :-? . App...
