Blimey Steve seems to have been in two places at one time also. I would not have believed it but the picture is in colour so it must be true :o

I could have sworn he was with me and 8 others on a ride from Nailsea to Axbridge on road bikes - dabbling with the dark arts!!

The weather station is up and running again - typical that it would stop while Brian was away.

Sorry it took me so long to reply to this. I have got some data back from people on the beach (many thanks to all who have filled in the form - please keep it coming! :D :D ). The Weather Station definitely reads lower than what is going on at the beach. We did mention this in the newsletter a coupl...

Congratulations to you both and big hello to little John :D :D . Only another 18 years before you get your freedom back, most of it anyway, I'll get back to you when I find out when the financial drain finishes  , worth every penny (sorry pound!) though. We are looking forward to the birth of...

Looks very good, aside from the artic temperature :( Sorry about that - the original sensor had the temp at up to 30 degrees (when it very obviously wasn't  ), we could swap back to that one if it makes you feel better  Do we have any information on which directions are likely to be the...

Weston Weather Station

Just a quick note to say that the Nomads weather station in Weston-Super-Mare is now fully operational :D :D (well nearly - we have yet to sort out our rain monitor - but apart from that) There are various links about the website that will get you to the summary page or you could try clicking here W...

Event This Weekend

Looks like it should be windy this weekend - Whoopee!!! The event this weekend was a TBD at the social. From those at the pub the choice was Axbridge on Saturday. Keith Shepherd is planning to go and Anne Green is keeping an eye on the rain, so will decide on the day. If you want to join them and yo...

Bigbury This Weekend

The weather is conspiring against us once again and although there is no rain forecast (yippee!) the weekend is set to be sunny, with little wind, think the seasons have been well shuffled again this year. None of us at the Swan last night were intending to go to Bigbury, does anyone else have any p...

Agree with all of the above.

Add to all of that a range of different size cable ties, which are amazingly useful for all kinds of "mechanicals". Steve also carries a whistle!

Oh and at the moment a shock pump - at least until we get the new machines set up to our liking

Axbridge on Saturday

Loads of people at the Ring ‘o Bells this evening – only two of us Nomads though! You must all have been taking advantage of the windy weather and evening tides at Weston. An entertaining evening none-the-less, with beautiful weather, Morris dancers (see pic), a Classic Car club meet and Folk music....
