Re: this week

I thought i had made the wrong choice this morning Graham, what with the rain and light winds.

Fortunately the wind did kick in this afternoon together with a nice clear blue sky. So definitely was worth it in the end.
Hopefully Weston was just as good.

Re: this week

I have taken a days leave for tomorrow (Wednesday).
Not decided where i am going yet, possibly Portland or possibly Weston Super Mare.
Looks like there being a slight chance of a slight breeze on the South Coast :)
So Portland looking my favourite at the moment.

Re: Tuesday 4th Aug

Great day at Portland. On a 5.8m sail all day. Water did disappear about 2pm by which time i was too tired to carry on anyway.

Wind and plenty of sun, well worth the journey.

Portland, Tuesday 7 Jul

Excellent day started on Bee 274 and a 7.4m and mid afternoon changed to a 5.8m. No issue with the tide using a small fin. Came off the water at just after 6pm. Absolutely shattered but well worth it. I know it does not count as there were no other Nomads around but clocked an unofficial speed of 29...

May Bank Holiday weekend 2015

I went to Portland yesterday despite the low tide. Really glad i did. Had a great day. Started off on a 7.4m and a big green board while there was lots of water. As the plug was pulled and the water started to get shallow the wind picked up enough for a 6.7m, a small green board and a 24cn fin. The ...
