On a very mild and windy Autumn Saturday, Weston was as good as it ever is. Started off at 1.30ish on a 6m sail with half a dozen others in good waves. A really fun day sailing out of the Boatyard on an Easterly. Light wind at first picking up in the afternoon. I was surprised at how much faster I could go with the Nomads GPS strapped to my arm! Finishing with a mocha at the revamped Bill Winters café with Sue, Matt and a good group of semi-nomads....

Superb day at Weston. Wind, waves, sunshine, Nomads chat and Rum & Raisin ice cream. Happy days.

Very good fun and always pleased to sail with Nomads and other windsurfers offering tips and encouragement to a relative newcomer still paying his WSM dues.
I didn’t realise that second hand sails had muscle memory, Matts 5.2 Rock seemed to be on autopilot, knew where to go all by itself!
