Re: Greetings from foca

I would like to apologise to all Bristol Nomad members for forgetting to take a camera to the Wednesday Zumba session.

Richard said he enjoyed it :)

Richard

The leaflet is from Dahab Holidays.
It says to email info@dahabholidays.com and to quote 'Dahab Hot Deal'

There's a website as well - dahabholidays.com which might give a bit more background.

As mentioned on another thread, there was someone there our first week who did it themselves. Easyjet, taxi transfer, the Coralia and Harry Nass. I do have a leaflet that I picked up from the hotel which offers a 15% discount on half board accomodation and 20% discount at Harry Nass. I'll happily le...

Having said that the wind was here obviously upset the wind gods. After 2 decent days it disappeared and it only came back today. Yes Huw, we are here 'at the death'and it's a bit strange. For instance, Graham needed a bit of gaffer tape for his boom the other day and was told there wasn't any. The ...

Last postings from Neilson Dahab

About to start Sundowners at the start of our second week. The temperature is creeping upward and the wind is easing off quite a bit each afternoon. Graham has been out every morning but afternoons have been a bit more variable. The Coralia has been a bit quiet - there aren't huge numbers of people ...

Club Teos Turkey

OK start with note to self – don’t leave the netbook unattended within Graham’s reach at any point whilst on holiday and with internet access available. Club Teos – exclusively Neilson – this was a holiday booked so I, as a non windsurfer, could ‘do’ things as well – and from that point of view it w...

Of course Sue, I'm on holiday, plus typing by screen light in the bar. 4.5M weather today by the way. I was even on an 94L for a while. Unfortunately travelling back tomorrow so not sure I'll be up for a trip on Sunday

Sun and Wind in Teos today, windsurfing in shorts sounds like I could have made the right decision coming here after all. Planning about 5 days so far.,

Ignore the login in I've borrowed Val's PC.

Car is packed (including tent and all associated paraphenalia).

God alone only knows what time we'll actually be there. (I'll be the one in the walking boots disappearing off to Weymouth or Portland - not decided which yet).

Nice video ! A whole load of new kit arrived a week ago - Graham volunteered to fit footstraps and fins on the changeover day in the middle of our two weeks so he could try out one of the new boards. (The Neilson guys had around 80 new boards to sort out so they were more than happy to have a little...

I can vouch for Richard - he was in Dahab - although I can't vouch for the speed as the nearest I got to Speedy was a little gentle snorkelling in baby bay on a windless afternoon mid fortnight. The rest of the time I was achieving a speed of zero on a comfortable sunbed.

Doorstop!!! I think not Huw. I have enough trouble getting to the gardening gear and the tumble dryer as it is! Currently "we" have 4 boards and round about 7 sails in the way! (not to mention the Quiver thingie, and the several boxes of extra bits and pieces plus the wetsuits hanging from...

The packaging is also a problem as it's between the door and the tumble dryer - although I'm sure I can work something out! :)
