Turned out to be well worth the trip, bunch of Nomads on hand including Matt, Grahame, Loraine & Justin, a 6m was enough for me to be moving far too fast for comfort in the bumps and the odd unexpected jump, have bruise to prove it, not so sure that flat water isn't the way forward, may need to re-e...

Timid Barry Menber

Hi Graham, good to hear that Hamworthy delivered. Huw, glad to hear you survived your "Barry" outing, hope the treasured "Red" sail is retrievable. We decided to Christen our new tent (somebody remarked it was more like a cathedral) and headed off to Roadford very early on Saturday. Not much to repo...

Thanks for the vote of confidence Val, hope you and Graham enjoyed your trip, Graham certainly seemed to pick the right kit combination for Speedy. As for me, I managed 28.5 knots on the last day with the help of being introduced to an Isonic board coupled to a Tush 7.5 sail, bit over-powered, but w...

Greeting from Dahab

Greetings from Dahab, yes, Alison and I managed to grab another week. Had two days on the water so far, Monday am, a 5.5m gave good balsting results in the bay, afternoon spent practicing water starts and alike as the wind backed off. Tuesday, 5.75m was about right in speedy, again, wind tailed off ...

Dahab delivers again......

Sorry to brag, but got in another good week in at Dahab last week, planing conditions at some point for all seven days, didn't quite beat my previous speed run, but did manage to record over 25 knots out back on the sixth day. First time we have made the trip in September and would definitely recomm...
