I had hoped that we would make a pilgrimage to the bridge where you (Adrian) tried the off the lip manoeuvre, but unfortunately there was not enough time on the final day. Rob has suggested a trip up to Scotland next year for those who want to be more technically challenged CYB is remarkably good in...

I dread to think how much this advice must be costing the Forum moderator......... However, 'I feel your pain' in searching for the holy grail. I am finding that not only are there different file types, the version numbers also make the files incompatible. If I wasn't so mean the GPSU utilty ...

The weather did add an extra dimension to the challenge, however there were no notable body dabs to report, unless I missed something. The condition of the trails was stunning, given the weather. Mechanicals are best left to Martin and his very brave (and intentional) dismantling of his gear shifter...

Coed Y Brenin Trip

This was my third visit to Coed Y Brenin and it lived up to expectation. Rob, Martin, Anna and I travelled up on Sunday and the plan was to arrive in good time for a short ride. However, these plans were quickly adapted to take into account the gale force winds and horizontal rain, so we retired to ...

OK I surrender. How did you convert the files into Fugawi when the file format is not supported :?:

And have you found a clever way to convert Fugawi into Tracklogs or Multi Map.......

However, great find: the programme looks very promising

Martin and I completed the Enduro course, although navigating by GPS was more of an art form than a science. Fortunately Martin seemed to know where we were going most of the time. Martin was significantly quicker than me on the muddy stuff. I just did not have the confidence that I would go around ...

Matt has described the situation well. I hummed and harred over the choice between a 6.5 and the 7.5. Simon arrived and opted for a 5.8, so I decided to be conservative. Hit the water with the 6.5 on my 112l board and a large 39cm skeg. Had a very hairy trip out and back and decided to change down t...

Looking as though the tide is still OK at WSM on Saturday. Hope to be there from 2 'ish.

Too soon to know what the wind is doing on Sunday, although the direction is ideal for Weston.

I was not sure to go on Sunday, so I headed down to Daymer Bay to join Ian K. The only problem was, I then stayed on for the next two days. Sunday was 6.5 and 93l weather. Very gusty but some great waves coming into the bay. All the weather stations promised 25/30 knots on the Monday. Out early at 8...

Camel Trail Single Tracks

I was talking to a local on my last visit to Daymer Bay and he recommended the following local places to ride: Bishops Wood leading to Hustyns Wood After Wadebridge, at first arched bridge - where road crosses over - go up steps, turn right and follow lane. Go over river and enter Bishops Wood on th...

Sunday 19th

Winds are looking promising for Sunday (and Monday) but someone has nicked all the water at WSM. Does anyone have any plans to go elsewhere?

Its not all doom and gloom.

Had a wonderful time at Daymer last week. sailed 6 days out of 7 and it was warm, even sunny at times.

Looks as though there may be some wind at WSM this weekend too. 8)

The last time I visited the FOD it was wet, we cycled aimlessly around looking for trails – without finding any ‘adrenalin’ moments at all - , we frequently lost our way and it was a great anticlimax. So, although I knew there was some great riding in the area my expectations were not very high. Wha...
