Re: Sat 6th June

Went to Axbridge yet again which was fortunate in a couple of ways. Met some old members who've moved away but came back to visit for a day. Wind very gusty. Started on JP 130 and 7m but soon got overpowered. Changed down to 6m on 104 Syncro which was really comfortable. But after a couple of runs t...

Re: Tuesday 2nd June

I'm erring on the side of caution because of the forecast. Don't think I've got a small enough sail.

Possibly Axbridge on Wednesday.

Wed 20th May - Axbridge

Lovely windy sunny afternoon at Axbridge. 6m (well downhauled) on 104 Syncro. Gusting 25 knots and very choppy (for Axbridge) in the middle. Not enough consistency in the wind for a 5.2m. Warm enough to fall in a lot.

Saturday 9th May Axbridge

Good day at Axbridge. Wind gusty 10 to 25 knots. 6m Storm on 104 Syncro. Wind started dropping about 2:30.

Surprisingly few dinghies to dodge since there was an RS 300 national event and training going on.

Nomad Martin Hill also there.

Wed 29th april - Axbridge

Another afternoon at Axbridge. Better than last week. Gusty (as usual) Westerly. 6m Storm on 104 Syncro. Much nicer than an 8.5m. Well powered up in the gusts. Nice and warm in winter wetsuit. Sailed for 3 hours. Wind and sun :D Excellent afternoon. Nomad Bob there as well. 4 people out.

Wed 22nd - afternoon at Axbridge

Very gusty NE wind at Axbridge but lovely sunny afternoon and I wasn't stuck in an office :D 8.5m on JP 130. Wobbling in between gusts, overpowered in some of them. Lots of uphauling. I'm sure the 8.5 weighs more than it did last year. But some good blasts. Gave up when my arms got tired. Only 2 oth...
