Re: Holiday Weekend
I've got rugby tomorrow, but would interested in a trip on Sunday which currently looks better than Monday and will hopefully have less traffic issues. From a quick scan of the forecasts Hamworthy looks my current favourite but would interesting to know where anyone else is heading.

Re: WSM Monday
I'm not sure I'm up to WSM fitness levels yet but I've got the Dentist today so can not go anyway. Might be tempted to go somewhere tomorrow but not sure where at the moment. It does seem a tad chilly.

Re: Weds 22nd.April
20150422Hamworthycrop.jpg Great day out in lovely weather at Hamworthy yesterday. It was a horrid drive down from Wiltshire, took over 2hrs! Great day on the water, even if usually on the wrong kit as the wind was stronger that predicted. Started on big kit like most of the rest of the Hamworthy cr...

Weds 22nd.April
I was thinking of a trip down to Portland today as wind looked ideal, but it looks like the water disappears early afternoon which wouldn't leave much time by the time I got there are rigged up. So a rethink, I'm going to give Hamworthy another go. Looks like the wind won't arrive until lunch time b...

Re: Sat 18th April 2015 Llangdegfedd
I had considered going over on Sat. but as it was an easterly I assume the sailing was not great as the launch area would have been in the lee of the car park hills. Its the one direction I tend to avoid over there. Where did you park if the normal car park was blocked? what is the procedure for get...
Re: Portland
Sorry but was too busy on Friday to post, and made a fairly early start yesterday. Had a good day at Hamworthy yesterday for my first outing of the year. Lots of rest between long runs as windsurfing fitness is just about non-existent. Struggling today as the body is now reminding me how go a all ro...

Re: Weekend 11-12 April
I'm still trying to get rid of this long lasting cold but had a rugby weekend down in Devon. I must admit to a few grumbles walking round Dartmouth and Brixham in bright Sunshine see some decent wind out to sea. It was surprising there was almost no wind powered crafts out at all, I think we saw one...

The Wave Bristol
I'm not into surfing without a sail, but I saw this online and thought it sounded interesting and I've not heard of it before. http://www.virginmediabusiness.co.uk/pitch-to-rich/start-up/surf-bristol-ltd/ Anyone know where it is? could be some interesting jumping practice if the wind was in the righ...

Re: Club discounts with Puravida?
Finally got this resolved when a very nice lady from the shop phoned me last week and said that Jim had agreed a special price (£10 off the on-line price) for the mast incl. delivery and it arrived yesterday. Apparently their email had been hacked which caused some of the original delays so well wor...

Re: Wall Racking
Unfortunately Huw that sort of defeats the object of being able to find the pair of boards I need and putting them in the back of the car quickly. :( Not sure what we are doing for the late season break. I think Lesvos would probably be higher on the list that a return to Lemnos, just because we hav...

I remember that Huw. the trouble is I've run out of floor space and I was at least pretending to try to tidy it up a little.

Wall Racking
I'm looking for some racking for the garage wall that will take boards 60- 69cm wide, two Kombats and two Rockets. I think finding something that will take the iSonic155 at 98.5cm might be pushing my luck. Currently most of the racks I've found on the web are designed for smaller surfboards with sup...

Re: Club discounts with Puravida?
Any one have any success with this remotely. I was chasing them for a couple of things, including a new mast. Initially he quoted me a rrp price £11 more than their internet price prior to our 10% discount! I wasn't sure if this was a mistake or their shop prices are more than the internet prices, i...

Re: Sat 28th March Axbridge (yet again)
I've not been down that end for years now. I struggle to justify passing the Hamworthy turning when I'm heading for Poole :D Well done getting out this early, hopefully after I get rid of this current bout of the lurgy I'll get out soon. But even with my thickest rubber I know hand and feet will suf...
