Bob (a Nomad) recently had a board repaired by Jim and was very pleased with the result (and the price).

This months social is at The Fox, Easter Compton.
Meeting up for a pre-Christmas drink.

No away day planned for the following weekend but you never know with the way the weather's been.

I can't make it but have heard that others are planning to go.

December, still relatively warm and out at Axbridge again. Very windy afternoon. Bob and 2 others sailing. A few RS200 blasting around as well. Started on 7m on JP 130 about midday. Best day at Axbridge for ages. :D Fairly gusty but F4 mostly, with F6 now and then. 6m on Syncro 104. Got about an hour and half then wind dropped considerably. Had lunch followed by a long break. Then it came back again. Got about another half hour with the sun shining. Then time to pack up before ...

Got there about 11. 14/15 knots gusting 23 - dead on shore. 6m on 104 Syncro for about half an hour then it dropped when rain came through. Came in, had a rest. Re-rigged 7m on Jp 130. Got the occassional planing gust. Wind continued to drop. But really warm and the sun came out - not bad for Novemb...

From talk at the pub on Wednesday evening, looks like Bob is heading for Axbridge on Sunday along with Phil and Julian.
I'm going to Axbridge on Saturday.

I usually like to go on this. The last two have been very enjoyable social events. I can't make it because I'm helping at Axbridge both days.

I had some very good GWB beer down at the Windmill a few months ago.

I could make it but if nobody else posts then I won't be going.

Changed because of info' from Ruth via her daughter who works at the New Inn saying not much room for just drinking since a very food orientated place. Switched to Rising Sun because it looked ok being the GWB Brewery Tap.
