I am late to the party, but congratulations.

I am sure enjoying the delights of the the late night feeds and the consequences.

I highly recommend taking loads of photos in the first few years because time goes so quickly.

Post 'race' report: Weather (after it rained all week): no problem Bike (after a succession of issues with squealing brakes, creaking suspension and dodgy gear shifts): no problem Shoulder (after operation): no problem Rider competence: big problem I came off twice: once where I discovered a rut whi...

The wind came in late on Friday. It was very gusty, but this was the first opportunity to use a sail smaller than 6 sq m. However, although I was on an Isonic 94 and 5.7 sq m Rock the best I could achieve was 34.1 mph (29.6 knots), so I did not break though the 30 knot barrier nor come close to thre...

I am not sure how this compares with other Nomads but I have just recorded 33.9 mph on a Sonic 94 and Tush 7 sq m at Vass. I wish I had my hard hat. Pure adrenalin

Good news. The forecast for this week was dire, but the weather changed overnight on Sunday, so it is warm and we have sailed every day (although on big kit).

My body now feels wrecked without needing to go mountain biking. :D :D :D

Still Woods

OK Guys and Gals, why have we never been to Still Woods when it is on our doorstep? http://www.pinkbike.com/video/245/ 8) 8) 8) Wind non existent in Vass, but mountain biking OK. Trails are very sketchy and I was lucky not to lose a few teeth this morning. I am keen to try Still Woods, but ha...

The weather in Vass is the worst summer weather they have had for at least 10 years. Cold, rainy and only two hours of gusty 7sq M winds in the first week. Wind Guru is looking dire for the second week too. Mountain biking, however, is a life saver (although I came close to losing my front teeth his ...

A great ride, although I am feeling my age this morning. :( The stats were 28.5m and 3,873 ft ascended. The Forestry people kept wanting to send us on diversions, which we generally ignored. They seemed unnecessary and we would have missed out on some great single tracks. They did, however, manage t...

I definitely like riding with Axel. A quick round at Roberrow and then straight into the pub to recuperate.] It has been a long time since I last rode at Roberrow and Neroli did a great job guiding us around a slightly diminished wood, where the loggers have been at work. We were blessed with no rai...

I am pleased to report that I survived two rounds of Whytes. Which I could not have achieved three months ago. And you won't believe what happened. Adrian took out a brand new Nomad and just got it a little dirty, so he switched it for a new Orange 5 8). I think Rob is setting impossible standards. ...

A wonderfully sunny day and great company. Rob, Vicky, Adrian, Martin and three of Rob's friends were all there. We all looked on and admired Robs latest toy, although it seemed a pity to get it dirty. The ride was largely uneventful, aside from some fields of wild garlic and some equally angry stin...

Just discovered http://freecaster.tv where Danny MacAskill comes 7th in the most viewed MB section.

The most popular, the Red Bull Rampage is insane: a 60ft gap with a cliff face run in and a 30 fall in between. The commentary (2nd most popular clip) is best viewed first. 8)
