Afan, Sun 2nd June

Post by MartinF »

From the almost total absence of posts in this forum these days, I suspect this will fall upon deaf ears, but - if anyone fancies joining us - Nigel & I are going to Glyncorrwg on Sunday with the intention of doing Whites Level & The Wall (W2). Hoping to get there about 10:00 - 10:30 sun am.

If you'd like to join us, call or text me on: oh 78 one 3 six oh 4 two 4 8.

The Plwm and I might make an appearance if only for one of the rides.
Will give you a tinkle tomorrow morning if we are coming.

Hope you had a good one, I decided to stay local for various reasons. Still had to get out though given the weather. :)

amazing ! still can not get my head around the fact that you have a bike that travels around these trails on its own, takes pictures of itself and then writes an entry in the forum.

What do you do during this time?
watch the telly or pop down the pub.

OR
are you one of these bike owners who stay up waiting for the bike to come home and then give it a row for being late.

You must learn to let go

Tough love
it's the only way that a bike can develop to be a whole, fully developed and complete individual

What have you done Matt, either you've shrunk your bike, or there is some giant Mutant gorse bushes round about Glaws way

I'm sure you enjoyed it really.

TBH - I had to take the day off yesterday (Mon). Don't know if I caught something on Sun, but was suffering dizzyness & nausea. And that without any alcohol-fuelled assistance.

Just to make you feel better Huw, my telemetry tells me we did 41km; climbed 1108m (but only descended 1098m!); took 5h 45m, of which 3h 48m was actually spent moving (did we really have 2h of stops?); av speed was 10.7km/h; my max speed was 32km/h; and I burned up 3082 calories. You had every right to feel unable to walk.

Blinded by science, I now need a lie down.

dro, I'm glad to hear you enjoy seeing my bikes little adventures, maybe it'll get some more pics next time it sneaks out.

Also nice to know the Nomads MTB sub-group is still active, even if it needs a lie down afterwards. I must join you again one day. :D (Not in the lying down though)
