New wheels on the old beast

Post by MartinF »

My old rims and spokes were decidedly past their sell-by date - the cause of the ominous creaking from the rear (after 1st ruling out all personally-generated noise). New rims & spokes and one thing led to another. Although I've kept my Hope hubs, I now have complete new tubeless wheels, and a considerable amount of latex goo sprayed all over the garage. Apparently, it's progress.

Trouble is; the new rims are white where the old ones were black. Not sure about the colour co-ordination now. Any thoughts, Huw?
