Board Repair

Post by Bob Iles »

Any one know where I go to get my board repaired now a days?
I put a 3" crack in the top surface whilst in Cornwall last week.
I should not try playing in the waves, even when they are not big ones.

Only place I know is K-Bay - http://www.k-bay.co.uk - tel 01258 840 580 - mob 07866 563 399.
The Dell, Hinton Martell
Wimborne, Dorset, UK
BH21 7HP
Bit difficult to find. Phone for directions.
Two of my boards have been repaired here. He rebuilt the backend of my JP X-cite 130 when I ripped the fin out. Wouldn't know it had been repaired.
This is where Windsurfers World used to send boards for repair.

Thanks Keith. I think I will give the windsurfing shop in Penarth first to see if they can help as I need to go to Cardiff anyway

K-Bay are not interested in doing repairs any more but Pura Vida are happy to do the repair.
I just need to get over to Penarth now. May be I can combine it with a day at the Knapp
