Sunday 19th

What Nomadic events are coming up. Also, if anyone's planning a non-Nomadically-arranged trip and/or looking for others to join in.

Winds are looking promising for Sunday (and Monday) but someone has nicked all the water at WSM. Does anyone have any plans to go elsewhere?

NEWSFLASH: SIMMERSTYLE AND O'SHEA HAVE AGREED TO SPONSOR OUR WELSH WINTER WAVE SERIES AND PUT UP SOME SERIOUS PRIZES FOR THE END OF THE TOUR!! MORE DETAILS AND PRIZE LIST TO FOLLOW SOON

Well here it is...by popular demand we'll attempt to run a winter 'just for fun' wave series at a selection of great Welsh Beaches! With prizes at the end of the tour to be presented at one of the bootsales! Each one will be run in the expression session format as at Newton...

Checking the longrange forcasts we'll select a beach that falls a good forcast over the weekends and post it that coming week, keep an eye on things and call the final decision of where to go in this forum on the Friday.

Scoring will be 6 points for 1st place, 4 points for 2nd, 3 points for 3rd, 1 point for entries there-after. All results will be logged to create a leader board that we'll keep updated.

Looks like West Wales is where it's going to be happening, bit far for a day trip for me though.

Weston will be sailable in the morning, but the wind might not arrive in time. Springy tides too so beach might be lacking?

Portland likely to be suffering a water shortage too from lunchtime on.
Poole tide is good though.

Dunno really.....

Overcombe would be the ideal place, with low 1st water at ~ 15:50. Don't think I'll be making the trip, though.
It's an ill wind that never blows at all.
