south coast 22 23 june

What Nomadic events are coming up. Also, if anyone's planning a non-Nomadically-arranged trip and/or looking for others to join in.

The weekend looks good, I'll probably be in Poole Harbour again (or I may go to Hayling Island one of the days because GetWindsurfing are running lessons there sat and sun).
Shout if you are coming down South!

Wind at Portland looking good for Saturday although not the best tide. Could be persuaded to sail elsewhere depending on others opinions.

I think on Sunday i will stay closer to home and try WSM.

Hopefully see a few more Nomads out this weekend.

Unfortunately I do not have a full free day either Sat. or Sun. so will be limited to to local sailing and will probably go to Axbridge Reservoir for a half.

If anyone is going somewhere from Bristol and could give me a lift to the beach, let me know, I'm up for going anywhere really. Jan

Saturday options, let's see:
WSM - Airday on http://www.n-somerset.gov.uk/Leisure/Ev ... AirDay.htm, may be beach access/parking restrictions, late'ish high tide 6.46pm.
Brean/Burnham - similar tides, no airshow.
Portland - long drive, dodgy tide, no rain?
Poole - even longer drive, better tide, no rain?
Newton - sail all afternoon, Puravida demo van, rain?, bridge toll
Knap - sail all afternoon, bridge toll, rain?
stay at home, shopping, chores etc? = zzzzzzzzzzz
others?
Should've been here yesterday.

Sunday at poole - prob whitley lake as there isn't much that can go wrong there. Early start needed as the plug gets pulled mid afternoon.
