Berrow Sunday 8th June

What Nomadic events are coming up. Also, if anyone's planning a non-Nomadically-arranged trip and/or looking for others to join in.

Berrow Sunday 8th June

Post by Justin »

Planning a trip to Berrow (other side of Brean Down) tomorrow, bit of South wind forecast - think WSM is closed for motorbikes  .

Hi Justin

I am pleased I saw your post before setting out.

What are the advantages of Berrow over Burnham? I have not sailed either location

Cheers

How was it? I did consider but ended up phaffing for too long as I was concerned I don't really know where to go, and that area seemed be full of caravan parks.

Is weston back in play this week? Looks like some wind tomorrow.

You didn't miss anything, glad I took my bike! NigelP actually sailed a bit, I only got wet from the rain.

Ought to be able to get onto WSM beach tomorrow based on previous experience, looks like the windiest day this week but some rain too. Worth keeping an eye on.

WSM is still looking promising, with a few showers on the incoming tide, I'm going to give it a go as its the last sign of wind before we go on holiday on Monday. If met office is correct, then it looks like the wind will disappear with the water after 5pm., so best get their early.
