New improved Llangdegfedd:
There is now an electronic barrier at the entrance.
Very attractive visitor center on the right as you drive in, cafe upstairs.
Paid at the new sailing center, met Mike very friendly/helpful.
Bit of a trek with the kit as the car park near the launch area has containers in, however I understand they intend to move them.
Sailing center is super, changing rooms with warm showers and we were told drinks and snacks machines are on the way.
Definitely a work in progress, already very good and sounds like it is going to be excellent.

I had considered going over on Sat. but as it was an easterly I assume the sailing was not great as the launch area would have been in the lee of the car park hills. Its the one direction I tend to avoid over there.

Where did you park if the normal car park was blocked? what is the procedure for getting through the barrier and paying the dues??

We used to park just above the grassy rigging area, had to park about 100yds back from there.

The barrier just opened when we drove up, there are rangers on the ground floor of the
visitor center I assumed they had opened it.

We parked and paid the lady in the office at the sailing center (not the rangers).

The wind did have some North in it, ok for my standard.
