The youngest Nomad!

Postby Al Donald » Tue Jul 14, 2009 22:04

Hi everyone, Al and Denise are delighted and proud to announce the birth, this morning, of our baby son, John Murray Donald, weight 7lbs 13oz. Mother and baby doing well. Father feeling the weight of responsibility on his shoulders! Hopefully he will make an appearance on a beach sometime soon. Might take a little longer to get him on a board!!
A :D :D :D day!
Cheers, Al

Blimey Al, that's a surprise! I wondered what you've been up to for the last year. Congratulations to you both.

Yes, sorry, it's been quite a momentous and life-changing year! I haven't seen you in ages, but quite a lot has happened, so hope to catch up with you all either on a board or a bike before too long - if I'm allowed out!

Thanks everone for the congrats. We're all back home now and, dare I say it, enjoying family life!

be brave

comiserations to both of you ,say farewell to the comfort zone
freedom is a thing of the past
shit ,vomit, arguments and sleepless nights are in store
If I were you Al I would try and return him back to where he came from.
tricky I know but the longer you leave it the harder it gets.

Valium ,antidepressants, alcohol and the Samaritans are the only solution

Be brave, be very brave

Lord Timid

PS

Congratulations :!: :!:

Congratulations to you both and big hello to little John :D :D .

Only another 18 years before you get your freedom back, most of it anyway, I'll get back to you when I find out when the financial drain finishes  , worth every penny (sorry pound!) though.

We are looking forward to the birth of our 1st Grandchild in late Sept early Oct :D . Should be much less stressful, just hand her back when anything needs cleaning up

26 years on, and still not got our freedom back.

Add to which, I just became a grandfather last week.

Congrats Al.

I am late to the party, but congratulations.

I am sure enjoying the delights of the the late night feeds and the consequences.

I highly recommend taking loads of photos in the first few years because time goes so quickly.

Thanks again, Viv, Martin, Nigel.
Fortunately, Denise has the feeding 'equipment' and also I'm a heavy sleeper, so generally miss the night-time mayhem!
