Happy Holidays!

Post by Al Donald »

May I wish you all a good Christmas break and a happy new year!

Sorry didn't send out any Christmas cards, and thanks to those who sent me one - sorry too late to reply

By the way, my Christmas has been saved because I've just been offered a new job (in Gloucester). Ts & Cs not finally confirmed, and only a 6 month contract, but it's as good as in the bag. A great relief I can tell you! :D

For those going on the Indoor Windsurfing trip, I now have all the tickets. I'll hang on to them let you have them on the day, except for those travelling independently I'll send them after Christmas. BTW it may be better to take three cars - if Adrian and Jackie don't mind I would suggest they make their own way there and the rest of us split 4 each per car, which would be less cramped over such a long journey. I presume Steve is still OK to drive, and I don't mind taking mine as long as I have a good navigator! Unless of course someone else wants to volunteer...

Cheers, Al

Excellent news Al - well done. Perhaps you could tell me how to do it, too. ;)

Thanks, Viv.

No news yet. It actually turned out that the CTO position I was to have been interviewed for, had gone several days previously  . However, they have a number of other, similar, open roles on the same project so they wanted to interview me anyway.

Just sitting tight and still slinging off job apps to everywhere - no change there, then.
