Bristol WIndsurfers World is no more. Rich has decided to call it a day & the shop is now closed.

Sadly, Bristol now has a grand total of zero windsurfing shops.

Good luck to you Rich; whatever you do next.

What a great loss, I'm sure we suffer as a result. I guess that explains why their Website has been a bit strange recently as I'd been meaning to nip down for a few odds and sods? When did it close?

About 3 weeks ago, apparently.

Relatively hot on the heels of Windtek at Portland too. Being a retailer myself have always tried to support both but probably a combination shrinking volumes and web.

Thank you Windsurfers World for all your advice and equipment over the years! Always great service and helpful ideas on kit, even though I couldn't afford to buy the complete board & sail quiver I would have liked on each visit but I'm glad I stuck to WSW Tushingham Sails (still the best). The very best wishes to Rich for the future and if an online business is started, I'm sure we'll support it.....these are tough times but I shall never give up windsurfing. A sad loss indeed.
