Help and advice needed for a returning windsurfer

Post by wrinkles »

Hi,
It's been many years (to many to count on my fingers) since the last time I windsurfed and would like to get back into it.

Can anyone please advice the best locations near Bristol where I can resurrect a lost passion ? I will need to be able to hire the gear and may need a quick refresher lesson.

Cheers

PS Great site by the way.

Llandegfedd still do hire I think as do Croft Farm. Come along to one of our pub nights and get the info first hand. See the venues page.

Cheers
Steve

Hi Wrinkles

I have attached a list of the places most local to us, hopefully you should be able to find somewhere suitable.

The other place at the Cotswold waterpark where I got into windsurfing in the UK is waterland:

Not great but friendly enough once you get known there. Wind very fluky and some of the kit a little old to hire, but if its local then for me it was turn up and go.
