Season's Greetings

Post by Al Donald »

Wishing a Merry Christmas to all our members and contributors.
Let's hope next year is as good as this has been, both on the water and on bikes.

Merry Christmas & a big thank you

Post by Jeremy »

As a relative newbie to Nomads, I would just like to thank all the Nomads who give up their time and energy to organising the events and maintaining the website - I look forward to 2007 - let's hope it's a windy one.

Indeed a very happy Xmas to all you foreigners
William the Conqueror has a lot to answer for !!

If it is any help Martin the bike is happy,,dirty, very very dirty,in fact very very very dirty and settling in well in her new home.

P.S.the posh forks are still nestling snuggly in the box but everyone is really impressed with the smallest pump in the world.
I tell them I won it in a Xmas Cracker.

Impressive Crackers eh!!!

By the way I am going to Antigua in two weeks time with sunsail
Lets hope for gentle breezes and cold lager

Ahh - you won't like Antigua. All rum and Ting. No lager. Still hurricane season, too .

Whereabouts in Antigua will you be staying?

Happy Christmas everyone.
Thanks, Steve.

Early days, but I actually think I may have got the spam-bots beaten for the time being: I've modified the registration process so that the person registering is prompted for a "VIP Code", which is contained within a posting elsewhere on the forums. The registration page tells the person registering where the VIP Code can be found, so they can retrieve it and enter it on the registration page. A spam bot can't (yet) do that (I hope!).

We've not had any spambot registrations since I installed the mod. Previously, we were getting 2-10 per day. Which I have to remove manually.
