Bummer - how did you do that?
Ask Huw for repair tips - he'll almost certainly suggest something along the lines of a couple of pieces of broom handle up inside the tubes, with a bit of brown tape to hold the ends together

It's an ill wind that never blows at all.

Any sharp bits end up in tender places?
Looks like the frame had the MTB equivalent of a Viking burial.
If found, please return to the pub.

Hey Kelvin,
Sorry to hear about your frame.
Don't know if it is of interest but I work at John's Bikes in Bath and we have a couple of Santa Cruz frames in sale at the mo'.
Both 2009 and both medium - one is a Bulit (colour is gangreen!) and the other is a Heckler (colour is orange). Both are £799 each. We would be happy to post it to you.

well thanks for the sympathy guys
good news is I sourced localy an orange patriot frame late last fri evening
sad news is it took best part of sat getting bits/bobs to get it together
but the other good news is managed a lap of cwmcarn later on
ps. also bumpedinto mart and ad doing some sneaky downhill practice
