Any of your tipsters out there want to help me out.
When I get on the plane, the harness lines suddenly go slack.
I've shortened the lines, and try and keep my arms straight, pushing the rig away and leaning out which all helps.
Does this sound right, or should I be doing something else?
Slack lines as you get planing.

should be no need to shorten the lines .
just keep the rig as upright as you can , if not already there move your hands in from the grip of death wide spread closer to where the harness lines are fixed , the important thing is to let the pull from the rig go through the lines so no pulling into the boom with your arms .
