Locations Comments
Bigbury Somewhat offshore. Good wave riding.
Crow Point Dead offshore. Unknown condtions.
Daymer Bay Cross shore starboard tack - best (but most dangerous conditions) on an ebbing tide. Excellent blasting across the estuary
Exmouth Duck Pond Excellent wind direction. Onshore'ish.
Exmouth sea front Waves outside with accelerated wind - excellent on a rising tide
Gwithian Dead onshore
Hayle Ideal Direction
Kingsbridge Can be gusty, often with chop - easy sailing.
Marazion Cross off from R. Gusty, but good wave riding (if there are waves).
Roadford Reservoir Should work okay
Saunton Very good. Cross-on from R. The best direction here, often stronger than forecast
Stithians Reservoir Quite good, but unless you want a relatively short run it is better to blast off downwind to the bottom of the reservoir where you get a much longer run. The ability to be able to hack upwind at the end of your sail, is of course, essential!
Thurlestone small wavesailing possible between reefs, fun conditions, easy launching.
Westward Ho! Dead onshore. Would be better at Saunton.

We have no wind details at all for the following locations:

Carbis Bay
Godrevy
Instow
Siblyback Lake
Tamar Lakes
